Roof Coatings

Fluid applied roofs are roofing applied in a viscous state.

A roof coating usually contain polymeric materials, such as acrylic, and a white pigment, such as titanium dioxide, to make them opaque and reflective. Roof coatings are applied in thicker than paint.

Reflective roof coatings reflect up to 90% of the heat from the sun. Pigments in reflective coatings strongly absorb the sun's UV rays and helps protect the polymer material and the substrate underneath from UV degradation.
